Most of us absolutely adore coffee. But you will ask yourself, why would I need to add butter to my coffee? We will give you a good reason why you should do it.
Millions of people reach for non-fat coffee creamers, and even though they taste great, great deal of them contain palm oil. Palm oil can add an extra few pounds to your body. Coconut oil on the other hand will help you lose weight and it will also stimulate your metabolism.
It contains medium chain fatty acids, and the human body metabolizes these in a very different way. A single teaspoon of these fats can boost the expenditure of energy by 5%, which is around 120 calories.
Coconut oil will also make your coffee a delicious creamy drink. It will not cool or water down your coffee. You can use honey to sweeten it, or you can try flavors like cinnamon or vanilla.
The breakfast is the most important meal of your day, and it is not good to skip it. Make sure that you eat healthy foods and drink your creamy coffee.
The coffee recipe that we are going to talk about today, is based on grass-fed butter, coffee and XCT oil. It contains no gluten, GMOs or sugar. Grass-fed butter will boost good cholesterol and it will reduce the risk of a heart disease. Vitamin K prevents osteoporosis and makes your bones stronger.
XCT oil is obtained from coconut oil. It contains lauric acid which offers antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects. It also enhances cognitive performance and it boosts energy.
- ¾ cup of coconut oil
- One teaspoon of vanilla extract
- One teaspoon of cinnamon
- One tablespoon of cocoa
- Half a cup of honey
Make sure that you always use organic ingredients. If you don’t like your coffee to be sweet, skip the honey.
How to prepare it:
In order to prepare the coffee, whisk all the ingredients together, until you get a homogenous mixture. Take the creamer and put it in an air-tight container.
Brew two cups of coffee and then add up to two tablespoons of the homemade creamer. Blend for about five seconds and that is it.
