Prepare Your Own Night-Time Body Butter That Soothes and Moisturizes Dry Skin!

Homemade Night-Time Body Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 5 drops of lemon essential oil
  • A cup of raw, organic coconut oil
  • 5 drops of orange essential oil
  • Zest of 1/2 orange (organic)
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon (organic)
  • Zest of 1/2 lime (organic)

Instructions:

Place the coconut oil in a small pan and heat it for about 15-20 seconds or until it softens. Then, pour it into a bowl and stir. Add the zest of orange, lime and lemon and stir through once more.

Now, add the essential oils and stir. Be careful and don’t forget that the oil should not be too hot when mixing it with the essential oils. Place it in the refrigerator to harden slightly.

When the mixture is hard enough, put it in a mixer or blender and whip it until you get a fluffy mixture. That’s all. Your own non-toxic body butter is ready.

Put it in a jar and keep it out of direct sunlight in order to prevent it from melting.

Use this creamy, moisturizing body butter at night and wash it off in the morning.
