Homemade Cheese Recipe
- 1 liter of pasteurized milk (bottle, bag or sachet)
- Juice of a freshly squeezed lemon
- 100 ml natural yogurt
- Condiments to taste
- 2 tablespoons of cream
First, place the milk over a low heat in a steel pot. When you notice that it begins to boil, remove it from the heat and leave it covered for 15-20 minutes. Now, add the yogurt, cream and lemon juice and mix gently for 10 minutes. Then, return the mixture to the fire until the milk forms clumps of curds separated from the liquid whey. Now, add condiments that you have chosen. Then, remove the serum and pour the mixture into a gauze to drain the serum. You should get a creamy paste. Now, spread the spices on the work table and roll your cheese mason top in order to form a preferred outer cover. Store your cheese in a plastic container hermetically sealed and put it in a refrigerator.
